Responding to calls for data (Gazette Notices)

How to respond to the call for data

  1. Find your activity in the list of Specified templates for activities and complete the specified template (the Data Form). The data must be calculated in accordance with the rules set out in the Gazette Notice, and relate only to the activity as defined in the Notice.
  2. Complete the Bases of Preparation (RTF, 2.6 MB). Firms must use this form to provide explanatory information about the assumptions and estimates that underpin data entered into the specified template.
  3. Complete the Signed Declaration (PDF, 84 KB).
  4. Email all three completed documents to industrialallocation@mfe.govt.nz by the deadline (see ‘Deadline’ column on the list of Specified templates for activities page) in the relevant Gazette Notice. If you are unable to send your forms by email you may return them on CD to the address below.
  5. In addition to the electronic copies, send signed, printed copies of the forms to the address below.

Industrial allocation data collection: Frequently asked questions is a comprehensive list of FAQs. This will be regularly updated with answers to generic questions raised during the data collection process.

Email support

All questions should be sent by email to datasupport@mfe.govt.nz. Replies will be sent directly within 48 hours and incorporated in general terms into the FAQs.
