Draft Interim report
This meeting of the full SEIP TAG was an extra session to the regular monthly meeting specifically to work through and discuss the content of interim report (a first draft had been circulated the day prior). Given the late circulation of this draft it was agreed that this meeting would not attempt to sign off on the report. This would be deferred until the next regular meeting of the SEIP TAG on I July or even later if necessary.
There was some discussion on the purpose of the report. It being agreed that the purpose of the report is to submit a progress report to government that would also signal progress to other interested stakeholders.
This was followed by a detailed page by page discussion of the content of the report.
It was agreed that a revised draft would be circulated by the Co-Chairs on Thursday (26th June) by midday and a near final draft circulated ASAP thereafter prior to next Tuesday’s SEIP TAG meeting.
Other Issues
It was noted that the sub group on electricity market price effects would meet for the first time on 1 July in the afternoon following the morning meeting of the SEIP TAG.
This group will be chaired by Carmen Blackler.
