Carbon markets workshop

The Ministry for the Environment and the Emissions Trading Group hosted a carbon marketing workshop on Friday 4 April 2008 at the Wellington Convention Centre.

The workshop was attended by upwards of 100 attendees, from New Zealand industrial, energy, financial, legal, and consulting sectors. Speakers included representatives of the Asian Development Bank, Mighty River Power, BP New Zealand, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, the Green Air Fund, Carbon Market Solutions, TZ1 and the New Zealand Emissions Unit Registry.

The workshop was intended to encourage and enable capacity-building for participants in the compliance carbon market.

Feedback from attendees has been very positive.
