Ministers Parker and Cullen will welcome the Forum and deliver any key messages. The Ministers will be present for 1 hour, from 9:00am – 10:00am.

Ministers Parker and Cullen will open and lead a discussion of the Climate Change (Emissions Trading and Renewable Preference) Bill being reported back to Parliament on 16 June. Dr Cullen and Minister Parker
Dave Brash to outline the changes to the Bill.

Introduction of Cluster B discussions; Suzi Kerr will lead this discussion. 

Report back on the Cluster B meeting held on 4 June. The Leakage case studies have progressed and will be reported back to the Forum.

An action arising from the previous CCLF meeting was a request for officials to prepare a paper on the adaptation response being taken by some of our trading partners e.g. Australia, and more generally, what climate change mean for the way we trade. An Official will present this paper.

The Chair outlined on 28 May that adaptation was to be on the agenda for the next BIAB meeting. The Chair to report back to the Forum on this meeting.  Stephen Tindall 
6 Business opportunities and positives arising from the ETS.   11:10 – 11:40

Future direction of the Forum. Discussion on the questionnaire requesting members comment on the effectiveness of meetings, encouraging greater private sector participation and the future direction of the Forum.

A tentative meeting has been scheduled for 6 August. The Forum to discuss whether this meeting is necessary, and what topics they wish to discuss.
